On Wednesday, 19 March, over 100 real estate brokers and experts came together for an evening of networking and to discuss the latest trends in Egypt’s property industry. The event, held at the Sofitel Cairo El Gezirah in Downtown Cairo, was hosted by propertyfinder.eg, Egypt’s leading property portal.

"It was a great chance for like-minded people in the property world to meet in a relaxed environment and talk about what's happening in the market, establish meaningful referral networks and generate ideas,” said Omar Al Madidy, International Business Manager of the propertyfinder group. “Egypt’s real estate industry is picking up. Despite the current political situation, the country continues to attract interest from local and UAE-based developers and investors, as the market is holding on to strong fundamentals. Property prices also remain lower than those in other Arab countries, providing a wider profit margin for investors”, added Al Madidy.

Networking evenings organised by the propertyfinder group throughout the year across the UAE, Lebanon, Qatar and Doha have established a reputation for promoting information exchange between real estate professionals and fostering a platform for growth and education.

Since its launch in early 2013, propertyfinder.eg has focused on building a valuable digital marketplace. Whilst providing consumers with information and insights on properties and neighbourhoods, it also helps brokers build their business by offering premier marketing and lead management tools with accessibility to a wide online audience. “By hosting events which bring together Egypt’s real estate community, we hope to encourage developers and brokerages to build their brand, develop their reputation and win more business,” added Al Madidy.
