Skiing in Cairo? Soon enough
With an investment of EGP4.9 million and a space of 172,000 m², Majid AlFuttaim group is building “Mall of Egypt”, after its success with “Mall of Emirates”, according to the German-Arab Chamber of Commerce (GACIC).
Calling it a “recreational paradise for the superclass”, GACIC adds that it is operated with the latest technology and will include a ski slope – a Dubai-success, which is firstly exported to other countries.
In the coming five years, ALFuttaim is planning to invest more than EGP16.5 billion and create 125,000 new jobs, partly by expanding the Maadi City Center and a mall close to Cairo’s airport.
