Cairo Job Fair: When employer meets employee in times of turmoil
500 students from AlAzhar University were poisoned by the campus’ cafeteria food last week. Immediately after, angry students took the streets, blocking roads all around Heliopolis and Nasr City, demanding action against the head of the university, the cook and some even called for the dismissal of the Sheikh of AlAzhar himself.
Yet, this did not stop Employer Magazine from hosting its Job Fair in AlAzhar Conference Center. With 30 companies and over 1600 visitors, the fair successfully brought employers and employees together.
Organizer and Marketing Manager of Employer Magazine Mohamed Ragab assured: “We ended the show properly and won the sanctification of each of the participating companies and job seekers. God willing, in the very near future we will host bigger event with more companies, as we have agreements with several TV stations and newspapers that will help us cover the marketing before and after the event."
