British Airways Named Best Airline at Business Traveller Awards

The readers of Business Traveller magazine are the ones who voted for British Airways as the best airline.

British Airways has once again claimed the prestigious title at the Business Traveller Awards for 2011, of the Best Airline. The airline also won in two other categories; the airline scooped up ‘best frequent flyer programme’ and ‘best short haul airline.’

The readers of Business Traveller magazine are the ones who voted for British Airways as the best airline. Their votes were then authenticated by special independent auditors and then made official at the Business Traveller Awards. The awards are renowned for attracting various leaders from the business industry annually: they have been running for 25 years and have become a yearly fixture for any business traveller’s calendar.

British Airways has been working hard to improve their airline and quality of service, in particularly, focusing on freshening up the airline’s business class (Club World) and first class services.

In Club World, business class passengers can enjoy a luxury on board experience with a business class seat that stretches out and transforms into a comfortable bed, equipped with a soft mattress and headrest made of memory foam. The beds are 25” wide. Passengers can also be undisturbed at the touch of a button that brings up a privacy screen.
