Senior Java Software Engineer

- Design and develop applications for Bluray Disc Java in compliance with specifications.

- Analyze and resolve application compatibility issues with different hardware and software players.

- Develop BD-Live enabled applications and web services.

- Design and implement reusable BDJ templates and libraries.

- Troubleshoot and analyze problems with client requirements and assets.

- Develop tools and scripts to automate authoring processes.

- Develop Java test automation frameworks.

Requirements:

- Computer Science degree or equivalent with 4+ years of work experience.

- Strong knowledge of Java programming language is required.

- Knowledge of Embedded System development, especially optimization of memory size, graphics and performance.

- Experience with object-oriented design concepts and patters.

- Experience with Eclipse software development environment.

- Experience using PhotoShop and basic graphical editing tools is a plus.

- Web application development experience with PHP, SQL and HTML is a plus.

- Game programming using J2ME is a plus.

- Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities under pressure with minimal supervision.
