For Poma, a FRENCH Company that is responsible for the construction of the first APM (Automated People Mover) in the Middle East to transport passengers between terminals in Cairo International Airport.

Job Purpose:
To manage & oversee all technical operations and maintenance activities and ensure smooth flow of operations and take effective measures and resolution in case of encountering a system halt. Assist the O&M Manager in team supervision and lead a team of Supervisors.

Skills

Experience: 8-10 yrs

Requirements: The candidate will have STRONG Communication, Leadership & Problem Solving Skills. The selected candidate will be expected to be an independent strong caliber that is reliable and with VERY high potential AND VERY HIGH Sense of responsibility and is VERY resourceful. Technical attributes should be;

- B.Sc. OF electronic Engineering
- Electro technic - electronic background
- Strong knowledge of the electronic system.
- Computerized supervision experience
- PLC Automation experience
- System implementation experience

Duties:
- Assure all operations and maintenance requirements are met including; tramway required maintenance routines and procedures, emergency repairs, downtime repairs, recorded keeping, personnel management, budgeting.
- Overlook the activity in terms of operation time, service time and maintenance time.
- Follow up on health and safety requirements and ensure compliance
- Ensure Personnel and facility appearance, performance and conduct
- Understand operational and emergency procedure
- Liaison and contact with regulatory authority
- Continue to be the direct link between management and the work force and can be most effective in developing job training, Safety attitudes, safe working methods and identifying unsafe acts and conditions.
- Assist the O& M manager in team supervision
- Represent the O & M manager with client ‘CAC’ & subcontractors and POMA Head Office.
- Organize and control maintenance activities with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Works simultaneously with office & Administration Manager to resolve any issues that concern the workers under his command.
