Job Description:
The Senior Deployment Engineer drives customers’ technical engagements from pre-sales phase to deployment phase, including:

• Designing solution and high level architecture
• Providing consultative product and solution expertise
• Delivering training
• Installing and configuring BroadHop solutions
• Identifying system integration requirements and working with in-house professional services and / or outside system integrator partners to deliver integration solutions
• Establishing and maintaining a strong and trusted relationships with customers and partners
• Working with company support personnel to ensure ongoing quality support
• Collaborating with the product application development team to identify and realize technical improvements to the product

• Customer wins and satisfaction

Skills:
The successful candidates will demonstrate strong knowledge and hands-on experience with installation and configuration of IP network solutions.
Qualifications include:
• Good working knowledge and understanding of software development technologies (Java, HTML)
• Engineering background typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent
• Strong experience in installing and configuring IP network equipment in a Service Provider (Telecom) environment, with core network skills including RADIUS, AAA, TCP/IP, DHCP, LDAP, SNMP
• Good background understanding and knowledge of network management software systems (AAA, Billing, NMS, LDAP) and their interaction/integration with network elements
• Strong IP networking solution knowledge and skill set (e.g. Cisco CCNA, CCNP or equivalent)
• Experience in developing and presenting solution designs as part of pre-sales activities
• Strong presentation and communication skills, including Visio and PowerPoint packages
• Accepts regular travel for onsite installation and support in region and occasionally transcontinental
• Enjoys working in a team environment and being part of a fast growing company pioneering leading-edge technology
• Is a self-starting and highly motivated individual who wants to Win in competitive situations
• Excellent in communication, presentation and listening in English. Secondary languages would be a plus.
