About the job:
We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Manager - Retail Logistics Shared Services, to be based from our Egypt Operation. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager for Retail, you will be implementing the Logistics Strategy for the Retail Brands in Egypt.

The Logistics Manager will Manage the Logistics aspects from a Commercial and Operational Perspective in Egypt to maximize the service delivery for the Retail brands in accordance with clear set objectives and guidelines from the Alfuttaim Retail Logistics Division, Dubai, UAE.

Ensure Supply chain quality in cost and efficiency of the Operations with the designated Logistics Service Providers for Freight, Customs Clearance, Warehousing and Distribution are meeting / exceeding the KPI’s .

Custodian to manage the Retail Logistics Department based in Alfa Egypt (Logistics Shared Service Team) – Warehousing & Transport and Customs Clearance – Yearly Performance Reviews and Day to day activities

Representative in Government Forums like Customs, GOIEC, Ministries on behalf of the Retail Brands in Egypt

Along with the Supply Chain Manager Set and manage the Logistics budgets . Key Negotiator and Lead for Procurement of all Logistics Services for the Brands in Egypt .

Introduce Logistics Management Reporting & KPI Packs.

About you:
Suitable candidates should have the following skills and experience:

- Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: A recognized Supply Chain Management Degree or a Graduate in any Discipline
- Minimum Experience: 3 – 5 years of Senior Level Logistics / Supply Chain Operations – Preferably from a Multinational Retail Brand / Background
- Knowledge of the Egyptian Logistics Environment
- Experience in Handling Multi brand Commodities – Fashion, DIY, Toys, Foods, Furniture
- Experience in Establishing Networks / Working Contacts in Key Government / Logistics Service Provider Organizations
- Experience in Managing a Team / Logistics Budgets / KPI’s etc…
- Preferred Egyptian National / Egyptian Nationals Willing to Relocate
- Job-Specific Skills: Analytic, Presentation, Effective Communication, Commercial Acumen, Retail Logistics Know how
