Distribution Center Manager needed for PepsiCo

A-Distribution Center Management:
• Develop Mostorod Distribution Center requirements (Sales trucks, Warehousing equipments, Labor, Buildings, and Utilities) in coordination with each category related function and ensure the timely forwarding of these requirements plans to the appropriate function.
• Support Sales and Engineering functions and be the reference for the Distribution Center specifications and selecting criteria as well as maintaining a good relation with Mostorod Distribution Center land owner and the governmental authorities of the center area.
• Follow up on annual Distribution Center CAPEX to support with all owning functions (Sales, Engineering, Fleet and Finance) to secure growth requirements.
• Execute Distribution Center expenses budget in coordination with all related functions (Sales, Engineering, Fleet and Finance)
• Ensure that safe operating conditions exist in the Distribution Center.
• Develop an effective system to ensure the products loading on sales trucks in the right quantity, pattern and time to cover sales demand.
• Define and maintain the required procedures for storing products in the warehouses, maintaining its safety, integrity and quality from the time of receipt till the time of issuance as per company policy.
• Develop and execute an effective procedure for eliminating products’ loss and damage as well as the procedures of handling the obsolete and slow moving items with related functions (Sales and Finance)
• Develop and execute an effective maintenance program for the Distribution Center building and utilities to ensure safe and reliable operations.
• Stay well informed and up to date on all the Distribution Center’s operating legal and governmental requirements and ensure PCE compliance with all regulatory policies.
• Monitor the Distribution Center’s performance by issuing tracking reports for actual results versus plans and reporting variances.
• Periodically conduct variance analysis and lead all action plans activities for closing the variance.
• Follow up on AIB/ SOS/ HCCP audits.
• Support the implementation of resources conservation and sustainability initiatives.

B- Lead Key Performance Indicators (loading compliance, warehouse productivity, warehouse breakage and finished goods shrinkage)

C- Establish and maintain a standard of performance for the Distribution Centers management function to enhance improvements in business achieving its objectives.

D- Ensure the alignment of the Distribution Center Management organization with the company vision, purpose and priorities

E- Drive organization capability agenda in coordination with HR and Operations Capability functions

F- Develop employees based on Leadership Model in coordination with HR and Operations Capability.

G- Conduct performance appraisal for direct reports with high quality and meet deadlines.

H- Develop and implement Distribution Center Management Best Practice and Processes.

I- Review financial statements and productivity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.

J- Conduct presentations to management team and Operations Director.

K- Work closely with business partners and functional peers.

Fluency in English and Arabic languages.
Experience in Warehousing / Distribution centers management/ Supply Chain Operating Environment.
Ability to deal with diverse backgrounds.
Strong Analytical / Thinking skills to be able to identify opportunities.
Good understanding of basic financial analysis.
Strong communication & leadership skills.
Strong Inter-personal Skills.

Education: Bachelors Degree
