Egypt approves land sales to foreign companies in USD

The Egyptian Cabinet approved the sale of specific tracts of land to foreign companies in US dollars, according to a statement on Wednesday.

Despite global economic difficulties, the construction sector in MENA demonstrated impressive performance in H1 2023.

Most investors asked for mixed-use land plots to establish universities, schools, and commercial and administrative facilities.

Salah said the company has deployed a capex of EGP1 billion ($32 million) this year for construction work across various projects.

Record H1 despite limited launches and addition of 620 acres to developer’s landbank.
