Egypt’s service e-bills grow by 223% since 2019

10 phases of the electronic payment and collecting system have been carried out starting May 2019.

The aim is to boost trade exchange with countries that have trade agreements with Egypt, especially in Africa.

The opportunities in the sector include enhancement in exports and competitiveness.

"We hope to enter the Saudi and Kuwaiti markets in 2020," managing director Mohamed Okasha said.

The event was led by experts from the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA).
