Elezaby Pharmacy Reaches a Landmark Milestone: 400 Branches Across Egypt

Elezaby Pharmacy, a trusted name in healthcare since 1975, has achieved a significant milestone with the opening of its 400th branch.

As part of this deal, the Sovereign Fund has gained ownership of 45 pharmacies, which make up a significant portion of the total 220 branches.

The fund plans to execute the deal through its specialized healthcare fund and is currently evaluating the company.

The total value of foodstuffs, medicines, and animal feed currently held in customs, amounting to approximately $1.3 billion.

The existence of disparate prices for identical medications, rapid surges in prices, and economic hardships for pharmacies have led to the crisis.
