Egypt looks to China for cash injection to lift textiles industry

Egypt’s textiles sector is a core component of its economy and a major hard currency earner.

Russian Industry and Trade Minister Anton Alikhanov was cited by state news agencies as saying on Wednesday.

The surge comes amid other economic indicators improving, highlighting the country’s developing financial landscape.

The ambitious goal comes after a high-stakes trade mission and signals a new phase in economic ties between the two North African nations.

The discounts will be applied for 90 days from Thursday on container ships that meet the standards, whether full or empty.
