Egypt accelerates El-Dabaa national grid connection for 2026

Cairo is stepping up connection works for the planned 4,800 MW El-Dabaa nuclear plant, developed with Rosatom, to feed the grid from 2026.

Egypt’s exports to BRICS nations climbed 10.6% to \$9.4 billion. The Gulf region emerged as a major market for Egyptian goods.

This involves accelerating exploration and development efforts across new concession areas.

This reflects a remarkable growth of $3.2 billion compared to the $1.6 billion recorded in April 2025.

It is part of Egypt’s broader efforts to implement concrete steps toward reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
