Egypt's parliament approves suspending tax on agricultural land for two years

The government decided to extend the suspension for two years as an incentive for farmers and farming businesses to boost agricultural production.

Discussion has resurfaced on the Agricultural Solidarity Fund after farmers across Egypt have been shouldering losses owing to bad weather.

The exports are up by 203,000 tons compared to the same period of 2018.

Egyptian exports of grapes to the Chinese market in that period reached 3.3 million dollars compared to 1.2 million dollars.

Al Ghurair said the company is planning to invest in the silos project in Damietta Harbor along with the development of the river Nile transport.
