Egypt brings quarterly fuel pricing back: What changes now

The committee can increase prices, keep them unchanged or reduce them, depending on the cost of supplying fuel to the Egyptian market.

This will allow fuel prices to be reviewed every three months based on global oil prices and other market factors

The parties discussed the application of modern extraction technologies, including horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing.

Electricity demand is forecast to increase by around 8% compared with last year, driven by higher consumption and peak loads.

Dana Gas said that within the licence area, it could contribute approximately 12 Bcf of future gas resources once developed.
