Egypt's Exports to Eastern Europe Reach $778.8M in February

Exports were concentrated in 12 Eastern European markets, led by Turkey, which accounted for more than one-third of the total.

China will exempt Egyptian exports fully from tariffs beginning May 2026 as Beijing deepens trade ties with Africa, Chinese state media reported.

Government initiatives and expanding capacities drive growth in Egypt’s agri-food sector.

It is not good news, especially since exports to the Gulf — mainly food and engineering goods — were worth around USD 9 bn last year.

Egypt’s outsourcing service exports have grown by 157 percent to $5.14 billion by the end of 2025, up from $2 billion in 2021.
