Quality Assurance Manager
** Current Position: Quality Assurance Manager (April 2016 till present)
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing all processes and establish documented procedures for all activities
- Improving facility’s hygiene conditions and employees’ GMP
- Improve complaints handling system by reaching root cause to take the proper corrective action in order to avoid recurrence
- Establishing and implementing different management systems such as BRC – Packaging , ISO 14001 , OHSAS 18001 , ….. etc
- Assisting all departments to set their annual objectives with action plans , to be reviewed regularly and reporting status to Top Management
** Previous Position: Management Systems and QA Manager “ (January 2015 till March 2016)
Responsibilities:
- Setting and implementing quality assurance objectives, KPIs and plans for new projects and products.
- Establishing and implementing different management systems (HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, BRC and ISO 22000) as well as customers’ requirements and standards in group factories.
- Conducting internal audits on systems applied figuring out the Non-conformances and assist the concerned departments in closing them up after making the root cause analysis and finally put the proper corrective action and follow up.
- Quarterly following up annual objectives of all departments and report them to Top Management or Management Representative.
- Participating in Food Safety Team.
- Leading and fulfilling all requirements of Social Accountability auditing.
- Establishing and following up the implementation of customer complaints and satisfaction system.
- Acting as Occupational Health and Safety Manager applying all legal and different standards requirements (i.e. OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001) handling all necessary procedures and precautions to protect the facilities and employees.
- Preparing all site and documents requirements to issue factories licenses and permits regarding Health, Safety and Environment.
- Leading Health and Safety Team.
** Previous position: Quality Assurance AND Health & Safety Department Head “January 2010 – January 2015”
Responsibilities:
- Establishing and implementing different management systems (HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, BRC and ISO 22000) as well as customers’ requirements and standards in group factories.
- Conducting internal audits on systems applied.
- Acting as Occupational Health and Safety Department Head applying all legal and different standards requirements (i.e. OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001).
- Document controller for systems applied and a member of Food Safety Team.
- Participating in establishing company’s strategies “vision – mission – values – objectives “
- Establishing and following up the implementation of customer complaints and satisfaction system.
- Putting and implementing quality assurance plans for new projects and products.
- Establishing the annual plan for all internal and external audits and management events.
- Following up the implementation of Lean Manufacturing project at the facility and being Lean Deployment Manager with the following responsibilities (November 2008 – till now):-
- Being a member of the Lean Leadership Team.
- Arranging and preparing for monthly steering meetings, semi-annual and annual multi-level meetings.
- Participating in 20 keys’ leaders’ selection and qualifications.
- Following up the implementation of all 20 keys and internally auditing them.
- Reporting 20 keys status and leveling to Top management.
