• Determined most effective approaches to new projects by reading and analyzing blueprints, drawings and sketches.
• Created electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical Toolset.
• Coordinated with vendors to identify and procure appropriate equipment necessary for project completion.
• Design interior lighting systems including lighting control systems, emergency lighting, lighting fixtures description, scope, notes, details, etc.
• Design exterior lighting systems including street lighting, flood lighting, open outdoor multi-application areas, etc.
• Preparing lighting calculations utilizing Dialux & Relux software.
• Design power systems including small power, cables routing, mechanical systems, low current systems, life safety equipment, etc.
• Design MV/LV schematics, & Single line diagrams including sizing transformers, generators, MCCs, MV/LV switchgears equipment, Central battery systems, UPS, Power factor correction capacitor banks, cable sizing, busway sizing, circuit breakers sizing/selection, etc.
• Infrastructure MV & LV networks design.
• Identified specific cables, connectors, fuses, circuit breakers and other electrical devices required for installation of monitoring systems and weapons detection systems.
• ETAP calculations including load study, voltage drop, short circuit calculations.
• Earthing design & lightning risk assessment calculations as per IEC standard.
• Design fire alarm system according to NFPA,
• Design security systems, sound systems and network systems.
• Coordinating the electrical systems & utilities with all other engineering disciplines.
• Coordinating with the contractors at site, reviewing/replying to SCRs, RFI, etc.
• Preparing BOQs, MOMs, Specifications and other technical design documents
