Edafa Venture acquires Egypt's Cyclex in six-figure deal

Cyclex operates in non-hazardous waste recycling, converting waste into economic value through sustainable solutions.

To date, the authority has issued around 2,300 licences for integrated non-hazardous waste management activities.

The projects include the construction of fixed and mobile transfer stations, as well as environmentally compliant sanitary landfills.

Egypt has opened its first biogas unit designed to convert slaughterhouse waste into renewable energy and organic fertiliser.

The 714-acre facility will treat waste from districts and villages in Giza that could reach at least 5,000 tons per day.
