Egypt’s tourism revenues down 67.2% in 2020

Total of $935bn loss in global export revenues from tourism, over $1.1trn loss in international tourism receipts, says Mohamed Kaoud.

Branded hotel keys is projected to increase to 83,100 in FY 2020.

The certification is hoped to boost the country’s tourism.

El-Gouna hotels will be open 15 May in preparation for Eid.

In parallel, the tourism sector continues to perform well with new infrastructure, improved security and major attractions such as the GEM.
