Trade exchange bet. Egypt, Malaysia records $503M

Trade exchange between Egypt and Malaysia amounted to about $503 million during 2020, Minister of Industry, Nevine Gamea, announced Wednesday.


 


The Egyptian minister said in a statement, that the list of imported and exported goods between the two markets includes vegetables, fruits, herbs, spices, phosphates, fertilizers, chemicals, palm oil, petroleum and mineral oils, rubber and some types of yarn.


 


This came during the minister's meeting with the Malaysian Minister of Agricultural Industries and Commodities, Mohamed Khair El-Din Bin Aman, and his accompanying delegation, which is currently visiting Egypt, to discuss ways of cooperation between the Egyptian and Malaysian sides at various levels.
