About the Job
1. Liaising with clients, editors, authors to understand and interpret needs
2. Understand appropriate styles
3. Work from a brief within a set time frame
4. Think creatively and uses imagination to produce new ideas
5. Create images and designs by using the traditional hand skills of drawing and painting
6. Using computers to develop drawings
7. Creating original pieces
8. Communicating with customers
9. Brainstorming and creating draft of ideas
10. Working to a deadline

Requirements
1. Artistic skill – drawing, painting etc.
2. Technical ability – draw and use computers to develop final product
3. Social skills – maintain customer relationships
4. Determine style, technique and medium best suited to produce desired effect
