While there is a global consensus driving concerted efforts towards sustainability and eco-friendly policies, 94% of total primary energy consumption in Egypt comes from fossil fuels. On top of that, electricity prices in the country have risen by up to 40% over the past few months.
As 70% - 80% of building energy bills are going to HVAC systems and maintenance, it has become crucial for contractors and developers to take steps toward fixing those pressing issues when designing the next generation of buildings.
