ITB to come to Egypt 2016: Tourism Minister

The international celebration of Tourism chose Egypt to be its gateway to Africa, according to statements by Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou.

<p>At the Money and Finance conference 2014, Zaazou announced that the world’s leading Travel Trade Show ITB will be held in Egypt in 2016, in an attempt to support and promote Tourism in the country and Africa.</p><br><p>
ITB Africa will be the second ITB to be hosted outside Germany, right after Singapore.

In 2012, Egypt was the Guest of Honor at ITB Berlin, in which the fair had resided since 1996. Egypt had experienced a hit to its Tourism Industry ever since the uprising in January 2011, but Zaazou is confident that by 2015, the sector will have fully recovered.</p><br>
<p>The Money and Finance is in its 10th year, and is organized by the ALMAL-GTM think tank.</p><br>
