Egypt’s leading call center and a major hub for all the country’s outsourcing needs was ranked in the annual Global Outsourcing list published by the International Association for Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) for the third straight year.

According to IAOP, the list “identifies the best outsourcing service providers across the globe that have demonstrated their expertise to deliver notable business solutions and made significant contributions to the industry through thought leadership.”

Ahmed Amr, an Xceed manager at the Microsoft Xbox call center, said the honor shows that “the company is continuing its positive gains and has become a great place for international companies to set up shop, despite the political turmoil that has hit Egypt.”

IAOP Chairman Michael F. Corbett led the panel of judges in deciding who would be on the list.

“The final ranking is based on a weighted average of size and growth rate, customer references, demonstrated competencies and management capabilities of each company and for the first year all companies were judged together regardless of their size,” a statement from the IAOP said.

The ranking is published in Forbes magazine.

Adel Danish, Xceed’s CEO and Chairman, said that being listed was more evidence of the company’s efforts to lead in the industry.

“This is a big achievement for us and it should be attributed to our employees, who are the cornerstone of Xceed and the reason for its success as they strive at every step to maintain our quality centric organization with a focus on client satisfaction.”

Cairo has, in recent years, broken into the top ten of top outsourcing destinations by a number of leading business publications.
