Delegations from UNESCO visit the Grand Egyptian Museum

The delegation began its visit to the museum by inspecting the great foyer, the great staircase, the commercial area, and the external gardens.

The Egyptian National Committee for UNESCO organized a visit for the representatives of the organization’s member states to the Grand Egyptian Museum, on the sidelines of the visit of delegations by 20 UNESCO member states interested in the Egyptian Knowledge Bank initiative.





The delegation began its visit to the museum by inspecting the great foyer, the great staircase, the commercial area, and the external gardens.


They also listened to an explanation about the most prominent artifacts in the museum, which will be made available to the public after its official opening, and watched a performance on Ancient Egyptian civilization.
