The conference will be held from 18 to 20 April by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) in collaboration with events organizer Ntervento

It features over 5,000 data and AI professionals and 400 world-class speakers and showcases technologies transforming global industries.

Furthermore, the conference provides Egyptian professionals and organizations with a unique opportunity to gain actionable insights into the international AI landscape through in-depth sessions on generative AI, natural language processing, computer vision, data engineering, cloud data, and AI applications in healthcare.

From 18 to 19 April, the conference will be held online, followed by an in-person event at Egypt University of Informatics on 20 April.

Egypt is positioning itself as a hub for technology and AI in the region. In November 2019, the Egyptian government created the National Council for Artificial Intelligence through a partnership between governmental institutions and prominent academics and practitioners from leading businesses in the area of AI.

The council's key mission is developing an AI strategy on the national level and providing follow-up mechanisms for implementing it according to international best practices.
