Investing in IT is investing in Egypt’s future

The ICT sector is the one driving the Egyptian economy with 11,25% growth in Q4 of last year.

The ICT sector became the main driver of the Egyptian economy due to its continuous growth. In the last quarter of the last year the sector achieved 11,25% growth.

This development among others will be discussed in the forum titles “Investing in Egypt’s Future- Investing in IT”.

The forum is the 4th annual one organized by the General Department for Digital economy and IT, which is under the umbrella of the Egyptian Federation of Chambers of Commerce.

The forum will be held on 23 May with the presence of the Minister of Communication and Information Technology Yasser Al-Qady.

The attendees include representatives of the National Bank, the Fund for Development of SMEs as well as more than 250 technological firms from different governorates.

The forum will also include an exhibition in which more than 20 small companies will exhibit their products and services in using technology in the financial, educational, health or smart energy fields in presence of investors.
