Egypt topped the whole world in being the most attractive location for offshoring financially and the number one among Arab and African countries.
Egypt came at number 14 internationally in the
A.T. Kearney’s Global Services Location Index moving up two places since last year's report.
The report ranks the top 55 countries for outsurcing based on 3 categories; financial attractiveness, people skills and the business environment.
The report stated that the devaluation of the Egyptian pound against the Dollar made Egypt more competitive. 500,000 students graduate annually in Egypt and 10% of those specialize in IT or a field related to Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). This puts Egypt in second place after India in having the largest qualified labor force.
The same as every year since this index launched the top 3 countries are India, China and Malaysia.
