An ongoing survey, conducted on behalf of Egypt Yellow Pages Ltd – the Local Search Company, which owns Yellow.com.eg – queried 40,957 current users of the website over the past year. Some two-thirds of the respondents gave positive ratings to questions designed to determine Yellow.com.eg‘s usefulness and user-friendliness, as well as reveal any areas for potential improvements that Egypt Yellow Pages Ltd would implement to enrich the experience of Yellow.com.eg users.
Approximately 93% of those giving positive responses said they contacted the business that they found on Yellow.com.eg, 94% indicated they contacted businesses with rich information such as video, descriptions, photo, map locations, email links, and URL links, and 98% said they would continue to visit Yellow.com.eg. Some 94% of favorable respondents said that Yellow.com.eg was easy to use, and 87% noted that the site loaded quickly for them.
A small percentage of overall respondents noted that some business listings on the site could include more detail, while a slightly lesser percentage noted they could not find the specific business they were looking for. Egypt Yellow Pages Ltd will use these comments to inform the businesses that list on Yellow.com.eg that they should provide more details on their businesses and ensure the search words they designate best describe their businesses.
“The results reflect an extremely high level of user loyalty for Yellow.com.eg, and show that the site efficiently and effectively gets the vast majority of our users the information they seek,” says Marc Lambert, Regional Managing Director for Egypt Yellow Pages Ltd. He added, “any and all indications of disatisfacton among our users will certainly be taken into account in our upcoming upgrades for the site.”
