As incharge of all accounting functions for AEME’s Egypt operations, the position is responsible to protect the Company assets, ensure up-to-date accounting, reconciliation & reporting and produce the Profit & Loss and Balance sheet of the Egypt Business, and manage an array of financial services to maximize profitability.


•Liaison with Cashiers, Treasury and General Accounting functions at H.O. and ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions on a daily basis.

•Produce a daily/monthly P&L and Balance Sheet of the Egypt business prior to its subsequent consolidation with H.O. Meet local and external regulatory reporting requirements.

•Monitor all Bank accounts, all FX deals and liaise with Banks and H.O. Treasury to ensure optimum cash management.

•Implement a daily reconciliation process for GL control accounts to subsidiary accounts and daily reconciliation of all bank accounts.

•Control capital and operating expenses and A&P budgets.

•Implement AEME management information reporting system encompassing key statistics, reports, and indicators with sufficient analysis to allow senior management to make strategic decisions.

•Develop and implement accounting plans to assist operations and marketing in implementation of their strategies.

•Ensure that all AEME policies for accounting and management practices are consistently complied with.

•Liaise with business partners (banks, key merchants, corporate accounts, travel, airlines etc.) on financial matters to support Egypt business.

•Stay current with Egyptian regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with applicable banking, commercial and tax laws

Skills

- Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic. Ability to commuincate, in English, technical subject matters concisely and accurately is essential.

- CPa or ACCA is a must

- Experience in a culturally diverse work environment requiring interaction with financial and non financial professionals is highly desirable.

- Demonstrated capabilities to deliver accurate and complete work products within tight time boundaries
